Our stay at Fra i Sassi Residence Matera was absolutely spectacular! Perched right in the heart of the historic Sassi district, the location couldn't have been more perfect. We were surrounded by the ancient cave dwellings and stone architecture that make Matera so unique, and the views from the property were nothing short of breathtaking especially at sunset when the entire valley glows golden. It felt like we were sleeping inside a living postcard.
The room was incredibly spacious and well-appointed, with plenty of room to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights, and the air conditioning was a true lifesaver during the warmer hours, quiet, efficient, and much appreciated.
What really elevated our experience, however, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and extremely professional. The check-in process was seamless and hassle-free, with clear communication and helpful local recommendations. The inclusive breakfast was expansive and delicious. Check-out was equally smooth, making our departure stress-free.
