"We tried to book 3 doubles and a twin, I received an email stating to accommodate a twin I would need to update to a superior room at an addition cost, which I reluctantly agreed. However when we arrived at hotel, I was informed they never received my reply and didn't have the upgrade available. The hotel itself was split, those rooms near the pool area, which were modern and looked very stylish, and the other rooms in the main building, which were very dated and in need of a good sprucing...

"This is the second time over the past 2 months that I stayed at this beautiful and peaceful Bed & Breakfast type of accommodation and this second time was even better than the first time since I was able to experience the entire property fully in my two-night stay. This time, I was able to enjoy the very serene, quiet and relaxing pool. Walking around the extremely pleasant gardens, yard, and relaxing hobby farm was magnificent. We really enjoyed feeding and interracting with all those animals...

"Tired property in a nice town. Room's are very basic; only economy rooms were offered thru Hotels.com, which meant no en-suite!! Check if booking this way. Self-serve breakfast OK at €8 - not much choice though. It's OK for one night if travelling this way... but it ain't great."

Breakfast was good, even though there wasn't a great choice for some travelers. Everything was homemade and tasted lovely We would definitely stay there again. "

The first stage of the Chateau is complete and is quite comfortable and well furnished. An external heated pool is provided with superb modern but period style surrounding buildings. The gardens are being restored and replanted with these works well advanced with a magnificent large stone dovecote and outbuildings next in line. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night...
