"We went for a short weekend trip in victoria and although the Craigmyle met our needs in terms of a place to stay that was minutes away from downtown and affordable, we did find that parking was not always abundant. The parking was limited on the street and it really depended one what time of the day it was. The bathroom sink was alot smaller than your average sink and the walls were paper thin. "Dashwood Manor is clean and quiet. It's in an ideal location between the beach and Seaside and the lively Cook Street village. Walking trails are easily accessible to incredible views. The breakfast served was delicious and the staff was welcoming. I wish my stay was longer. "

"This was an okay place to stay. Not fantastic, not terrible. Travellers should be aware that there are no elevators, no a/c, and limited electrical outlets in the suite to plug in your devices for charging. The suite we had was in the cottage next to the main building, and although it was very roomy and comfortable, it is old and worn in some places, and I found it very warm in the suite, The windows open for cooling, but there are no screens, so take your chances. The price is very good...

"We were bikepacking around Vancouver over the long weekend. Before and after our stay at the inn we were able to leave a bag which was very kind and allowed us to see lots of local sights. The breakfast was great, especially the coffee and pancakes. Highly recommend this place."

"We stay in 2 bedrooms suite. Room decoration is good clean and good space. Very good view and can open the door, winter for fresh air. I feel like stay in condimenium having kitchen and there are washing and drying machine in the hotel. The location is great near the attraction in the walking area. Near testaurant and mall. We will recommend our friend when visit Victoria."

"Enjoyed my stay. It was a bucket list item! It was clean! It was quiet. There are robes and I love dark towels! The bed is warm with a firm mattress. At home I have a 4 inch memory foam topper, so a firm mattress was a very different sleep for me. My favorite was having a seal swim by as I was having my morning coffee!
