"The staff were not overly helpful. I asked someone at the front desk to call me a taxi and they said they couldn’t so they gave me the number. When I said I couldn’t call because of the international number they seemed annoyed. I tried to get lunch one day and they told me the chef wouldn’t be in for another hour despite it being within the lunch hours they posted. The rooms were also very outdated."

"Spa was wonderful. Room was small but adequate. This is an old industrial building that has been converted. This has pros and cons. The pros are that it is atmospheric. The cons are that it lacks modern amenities such as air con. But overall - very good value and I would stay again."

"Wonderful stay. The setting is very peaceful and calm, after a 2 night stay we felt utterly replenished. The beds and pillows were large and comfortable. Robes and slippers were provided. The staff were friendly, approachable and professional. The spa is truly a gem here. Clean , was never crowded and relaxing. We never had any treatments but didn't feel like we missed out on anything. Loved sitting outside the spa and eating after a relaxing spa session. Special mention to Victoria at the spa...
