"One of the best hotels Ive encountered in over a month of traveling! Very well maintained and a very kind and helpful staff. Up to Western standards for anybody traveling from abroad who have high expectations in terms of cleanliness and enclosed showers that doesnt get the bathroom totally soaked which a huge plus for me. Would highly recommend this hotel to all travelers who seek comfort and hospitality! I had a wonderful stay!"

"Gotta be straight with ya . . Perfect location . . smack in the middle of everything. The best deep tissue 90 minute massage in Nepal. , . I had it 2 two times with Ms.Pramila at their in house spa. Over the top great . . The second time was when I came off a 14 day trek to Mount Everest Base Camp . . Ms. Pramila came in on her day off just for me . . Serious!! Ms. Aayusha on the front desk . . Was exceptional in all aspects . . Professional. Positive. Outgoing. Perfect English. Natural...

"Staff are very nice and helpful, good location, room is clean and very comfortable. Next time i'll come again for sure!!!! 👍👍👍"

"Stayed 15 days and enjoyed the off street peaceful location. The staff was exceptional in so many ways, directions, sightseeing, travel advice, you name it. The restaurant was a quiet oasis from the city street noise. Good food in an outdoor setting. Overall, excellent staff and a great value and great location. Very highly recommend !!!"

"I had a great stay at The Exotic House. Hot water, heat in the rooms. all at an affordable price. I would definitely stay there again."

"Good hotel"

"Ashish at reception is like a maestro/ making sure everything is working, guests are happy, etc. he does an awesome job! He has done challenges to work with, such as excessive noise from within the hotel due to an open staircase. It starts about 6:30 am with Oreo for Brfk down in the lobby ( all way up to higher levels) and really continues all day. Noise from outside is minimal. Breakfast is a nice selection. Bathroom is very small- two people don’t fit. Needs a bit of sprucing up; water noise...

"Staffs were nice and welcoming always made sure that we had everything we needed. The property itself is like a sanctuary for us from the crazy city of Kathmandu. Walking distance from the shopping streets and a few steps away from a tour agency. The only problem we faced was airport transfers and communication around that. So, make sure you get in touch with them early on this."

"Excellent vibe. Great value for money "
