"This is an excellent place to stay in Sorrento. The location is perfect in the Palazzo Tesso where you can easily go to all the restaurants, shops, and Port to catch a ferry to Capri easily. "Our deluxe room was beautiful and we had a little balcony that looked out onto the Main Street. The location was perfect; so many restaurants in the area and so close to Piazza Tasso. Melania was amazing; so helpful with recommendations for food and arranging our transportation. We will be back for sure. "Lovely hotel, amazing views, manicured gardens, excellent staff, (Carmen, Martina, Connie, Gaetano, Valentina, Laura, Roberta to mention but a few) good spa. However, there were 2 major issues which were not in keeping with a 5* at this price point: 1) there is a huge unattached manhole on the road in front of the hotel which makes a racket every time a car drives over it and keeps you up at night through the night; 2) a horrible drain stench from the toilet / bidet in the rooms.
