"Had to wait 20 minutes or longer at front desk for anyone to arrive at desk to check me in. I tried to use Afterpay at check in and they told me they don’t take it or Hotels.com gift cards. Which was my plan to pay for my stay as I was recently played off temporarily from my job but basically had to use my last cash to stay leaving me very broke for my stay. Hotels.com should not make it possible to book this property via Afterpay if this is not accepted. I was very upset by the situation because I had no alternatives bc I was with another couple and they were my transportation. I was told if I cancelled I would have to pay for one night and I would not have had enough to secure other lodgings anyway. As far as my stay…room was clean but shower curtain allows for water to leak all over the bathroom causing extremely slippery situation requiring the use of all the towels to absorb the water. Then requested more clean towels and was never provided any. Breakfast was not great. Was rather sparse. Fruit was going bad and the eggs were watery. "

"We went with Red Roof because it was considerably less than other places. Definitely got what we paid for. Staff - not rude, just not welcoming or very friendly Room was “tired,” not necessarily dirty but it was really hard to tell and I wasn’t about to not wear shoes, even in the shower Bathroom - toilet seat not attached on one side, sink faucet backwards, hand soap dispenser empty, shampoo dispenser empty, toilet paper - maybe 10 squares left on the roll, but there was a new roll on the back of the toilet BUT the bed was very comfortable."

"The hot tub and pool were not in service. The TV in the room did not work properly and the fridge did not work. I asked for a one hour extended stay and was told no! The housekeeper and the lady who originally checked us in we're very polite and helpful though"

"Room smelled bad, the towels were dirty- they had makeup on them. The unopened Kleenex box was filthy like someone with very dirty hands was handling it. The smoke detector beeped loudly all night. We will never stay here again. It was gross. "

"Clean, updated rooms. Housekeeping did open the door without knocking while we were there but thankfully we had the deadbolt locked. "
