"Overall is okay just the city tax is very very high. The room I book is on the top which under the roof without window so a bit awkward. As it show in the website as no-view but not mentioned that NO window. It should be mentioned as "No-Window" to make it clear! "In a quiet residential area and yet we were close enough to nearly everything to walk. Excellent reception staff and someone available 24/7. I have Parkinson’s and they went out of their way to help me. "Terrific location on the cafe pedestrian street near the Rembrandt plein. Can be noisy at night but even though our room faced the square the good quality windows kept the noise to a minimum. The hosts who live on site are available at the front desk from 0800 until 2000. They were just fantastic, offering refrigeration for a bottle of bubbly we bought and then going as far as to provide a bucket of ice and flutes. Very kind and helpful people. "This is an extremely unique property. It is truly a boutique hotel in a convenient location in Amsterdam. It is a very old building and our rooms were m had a personal story completely with furnishings to match. We even had our own private garden!! We had a custom breakfast made each day with a terrific variety of items. It was delivered to our room each day! The staff was so professional and accommodating. If you’re looking for something very unique I would highly recommend it. "

"Location is great. Rooms are worn-out, dark and very dusty. However, the bathroom is spacious and clean. Service at breakfast is not professional. They were lots of customers during our stay each morning and the staffs at Bridges restaurant told us that they couldn't handle with the large number of people since there wasn't enough of them. Service was very slow and unorganised. Overall, I think the hotel services and standard doesn't match with the price tag."
