"The host was very friendly, warm and goes all out to take care of their guests. The host even helped us get discounted tickets into tongli and getting us a driver when we leave. Some small things that they can consider to improve on: providing complimentary water and towels for the guests, and nets to keep the tiny flies out of the room."

"Incredibly unique as the boutique hotel is not just a living museum of Chinese antiquities, but that the collector, architect, and owner is an American who has been preserving history for near 40 years. When temps are below zero, floor heating, soft beds and warm decor are greatly appreciated! Not to mention, their onsite 'duck house' produces some incredibly tasty roast duck! The adjacent museum is worth a 2-3 hour stroll through time."

"It was really good stay...especially I remember a kind satff who helped me to get a taxi when I checked out. My flying time was early morning so I need to get a taxi get to the airport. I don't speak chinese at all so she asked taxi driver about fares and how to get a receipt for me. More than 30mins, She was with me in cold weather and helped me. I really appreciate that. The staff name may be "Mister" as I remember. Anyhow I will stay again when I get to Suzhou and highly recommend this hotel."

"From Expedia i can see that the breakfast added is for 2 pax but the hotel staff insists that it only covers for 1 pax. The hotel is good for family holiday but nearby has nothing much. Didi is a must in order to access to nearest shops and food stalls."
