Perfect stay in Daegu

I stayed at GD house 3 nights in total. I wish I could rate it more than 5 stars! The staffs are extremely helpful and friendly. They provided check-in information clearly and sorted out every problems during my stay. Even more, they are able to check-in earlier and deposit luggage after checking out. We also enjoyed the night view and perfect location. It located beside the subway station exit with shopping area near around. Staying here means you can enjoy the time in Daegu for sure. The hotel is new furbished and clean. Highly recommended for everyone!

Excellent location, clean, convenient studio apartment with all the amenities you need. Right next to the center of Daegu shopping, nightlife, and public transportation network. Host was communicative and friendly. All for a reasonable price.

Amazing stay. Very clean and nice host. Understand anything over 2 people will result in extra person charge in korea Even though it says can accomodate 4 people. Parking is 40,000 won. I think if a place can accomodate 4 people, there shouldn't be an extra person charge. Other than that, the location is great. Walkable to everythinf.

Would stay here again!

Every aspect of this stay was amazing! Coming from the states, we couldn't download the Korean APPs and the host reached out via whatsapp after the first communication on hotels.com. All instructions on how to get into the building and where to store bags were provided prior to arriving. We arrived a bit early but the room was ready so he allowed us to go straight in - once we arrived, he came in and showed us how everything works (HVAC, TV, etc.) So grateful for this interaction. Location: the bandolwang station is right outside & there is a 7/11 attached to the building. The shopping area, food, bars start a block over. Space: Quiet, clean and located on the top floor of the building, great view. 1000% would stay here again! Definitely recommend. We are a couple in our early 30's. Thank you!

Very nice loft apartment, very clean , unexpectedly complex trash sorting. Old folks be aware that the loft stairs are steep and narrow and you can't stand upright in the loft.

Perfect place in Daegu

Wonderful apartment! Perfect location in front of underground exit and easy access to downtown. Right across from department stores. . Luckily our daughter had a korean phone to initiate contact, though we joined in via whats app. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect for a week long stay! Highly recommend. Host very helpful when asking questions about recycling.

Although this was a super last minute booking, out of sheer desperation on trying to secure a place to stay for the next few days, it was the perfect choice! The host provided a lot of information regarding where to go, with pictures, the rules regarding recycling and trash (something I wasn’t aware of), and aided me with other questions I had. Regarding the location, it was within walking distance of everything you could possibly need. It’s right by a station shopping center, Banwoldang Station, and Daegu downtown is just across the street. It’s by far a very convenient location especially after coming back from the clubs around the area! For the amount of 6 people, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Excellent host; but apt. not for everyone

There was care and attention to detail from start to finish. Communication was excellent, even with a language barrier. The one negative was the second bed is on à mezzanine level with the ceiling maybe 5’/1.5m above the bed, so you cannot stand up. The stairs to the mezzanine are steep and could be a hazard to small children or to someone with mobility problems. Also, my son said the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. My bed was very firm but I slept fine.

This property is located right in front of a subway exit which is really convenient as you move around Daegu. The owner is very helpful and will try to do everything to assist in anyway. I liked the way he communicated to us straight after we booked this place and throughout our stay. It made everything so smooth for us during our stay in Daegu. The property provides your a washing machine in your room which is really really helpful when in Korea. The owner also provided us with laundry detergent and dishwashing liquid and toiletries. The towels are small though but he provided us with extra ones. They just don't do housekeeping but that didn't bother us at all since we are mostly out sightseeing. The only thing we really don't understand was how the rubbish bags worked as you have to buy them and leave them at a certain place and time. However, the owner has been very understanding but the bags could have been provided and labelled to avoid confusion. The place has enough beds for us 5 but not enough space to fit in our luggage. And the 2nd floor has low ceiling so just take note of that if you have back issues. We appreciate the provision of netflix too. Oh, you have to make sure that the property is clean before you leave as well.

주차는 잘 이용했으나 주차비가 1대당 만원으로 비싼편이고 숙소는 깨끗했으나 친구들과 앉아서 다과와 담소 나눌공간이 너무협소함. 접시,큰그릇,도마가 더 필요했음. 그러나 사장님께서 사용에관해 소상히 문자 주셔서 좋았음
