We are so glad to stay at this hotel as we did not want to be in the old town - too crowded and touristy. Son Hoi A was as beautiful as the photos and all the staff were so kind and helpful. I was traveling with my elderly mother who needed a lot of care and attention, and they were very patient and aware of her needs. I myself also needed medical attention, and the staff were very good at escorting me to medical Center and translating and helping me understand what my options were. In addition, while quieter than the old town, it was so great to have the local coffees and casual eateries just in the area by the hotel. Thank you to all the staff.
We stayed for 3 nights here as part of our 2 week honeymoon traveling throughout Vietnam. We excited to see Hoi An and stay with this boutique place which looked like just what we wanted from the photos.

Bit of an odd moment when the receptionist suddenly snapped at my husband because he was trying to clarify & understand her response to a question on the map. It was actually funny in an awkward way as I then joked with my husband that he’s never been spoken to like that by an Asian woman despite being married to one!
For me the most disappointing thing was breakfast. the western hot foods, breads, pastries were not fresh. There was little variety and none of it was replenished after 9am if it ran out (we didn’t make breakfast before so couldn’t comment), it was definitely not a 5 star breakfast and progressively worse across three days.
