"Beautiful family run hotel in an excellent location close to the city walls. Bars and restaurants on your doorstep and lovely little cafe opposite for breakfast. Hotel breakfast is 13 euros per person, substantial buffet breakfast well worth the money. Just an 8 minute walk into the city with lots of beautiful restaurants. Would recommend Hotel Du Pont Vieux to anyone visiting Carcassonne and would definitely stay again if returning."

The view of the Citadel from my window was enchanting by day and by night - and from the restaurant and rooftop, just breathtaking. A short walk to the Citadel or main town, restaurants all nearby. Recommended."
