While the hotel and room was absolutely top notch it was the staff the blew it over the top.From the registration, house cleaning and breakfast servers they are super professional and genuinely nice people. Can't wait to stay there again!!

Fantastic -

I regret having such a short stay here! After many days touring the country this place was a welcomed luxury in preparation to fly out and head back to the States. The staff were extremely friendly and the small extras they offer were fantastic. We I travel back to Cusco, I will stay here again.

Stunning Property!! The restaurant area and spa are beautiful. The Staff was incredible!! So helpful in every area. We only stayed one night on our way back from visiting Manchu Picchu and we wish we had more nights. Will definitely be recommending this property and will stay there again!!!

The hotel has an excellent location to access all the good parts of Cusco. Casa Cartagena itself has been decorated with ambiente to preserve its 17 century history. Our room was vey spacious spacious, clean room and all the facilities were in great shape. The added plus is the superfriendly and helpful staff. This is 5star level.

A lovely respite!

It seems to have retained some of the peace and tranquility of its previous incarnation as a monastery. I would have spent more time just enjoying the hotel as a retreat had it not been for unfortunate, but obviously necessary, construction and garden mowing in the courtyard.

Absolutely Wonderful! Staff is excellent, and they go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed and assist in any way they can. We stayed 4 nights (Sept 2022) in the Master Suite and found the facility to be exceptional and yet not crowded. The breakfast buffet, and restaurant are well above your normal continental breakfast, they will cook you and omelet/poach eggs for you but the other food may tempt you enough that you won’t need anything cooked to order. The spa is perfect, and they will bring you a complimentary mint tea to the spa for your refreshment! Happy hour is complimentary as well and the staff will assist in making travel arrangements and be happy to do it! Grounds are pristine and the staff on Mani, Fernando, Juan, Claudia, and others are first rate! Within a 5 min stroll of the Plaza de Armas, and just a few more minutes to the San Pedro market. We absolutely enjoyed our stay! To the owner of this property, your staff is excellent! J & K Lewis
