"Door locks were old and tired, so the keys didn’t fit. We had to try about 20 times to unlock the door each time we tried to enter the room. If a serial killer was racing across the parking lot to get us, we would be goners. Staff was aware of the problem and blamed the guests and staff for slamming the doors."
"Cold shower; worn furnishings, rugs, draperies; boarded up window, holes in towels and the list goes on. Fortunately, we were able to secure another lodging for our second night."
"The property is new. It’s well maintained around the premises, lobby area, dining. The room had a fridge and microwave. We stayed one night as planned and checked out, then checked back in due to winder highway closure. The bathroom in both rooms were not the cleanest. Especially visible were showers, pinkish residue all around the bottom shower pen/ tub. Breakfasts were consistently good. Special thanks to the young lady responsible for it. The scramble and the omelettes were cooked well done which is hard to do if they use powder eggs. Sausages were cooked well, there were large variety of pastries, waffles, bagels. Also boiled eggs, yogurts, milk and cereals, and fruit. Nothing was sticky and she constantly wiped down, swept and refilled items. They also have surprisingly good coffee. I would stay there again."
"This property was the most DISGUSTING place ive ever stepped foot into. It was so bad that we didnt even stay here. There was so much dust, dirty and rodant fecal matter in the room they tried to put me in. I am pretty sure the bed was previously slept in. The hallways smelled so bad, of mold and musty and dusty.
THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED. NO ONE SHOULD EVER BE SUBJECTED TO THIS RANCID, TOXIC HOLE!
I was not given a refund and the employees thought everything looked fine. I will NEVER recommend Hotels.com because of the way they also treat customers."
