"This reservation was a saving grace after a VRBO reservation was ignored by the owner in Dingle. This is a wonderful property and the manager is a gentleman without equal. He was upset at the cost we had been charged and adjusted it to my advantage as it should have been. The room was great and the breakfast was superb. Examples -- stains in the carpet throughout the property, including the room. There were stains and even holes in the curtains in the room. Dull fluorescent lighting throughout the property. The staff were just ok. Not rude, but not super helpful either. We were given a handicap accessible room -- not preferred. But we were too tired to ask for another room. The...

"We thoroughly enjoyed out two night stay at Barrow Lodge from the minute we arrived to when we left. Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!"
