"Lovely welcome on arrival. Tent was clean, private, comfortable with fabulous views. Staff were attentive, served us with a smile and could not do enough for us. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful and tea with cookies was a nice touch at 4 pm.
We had a wonderful game drive with Dusty, who is very knowledgeable, informing us about local customs in the area too.
I was unfortunately not well during our stay, however the staff could not be more accommodating and kind to me."

"The property was clean, crisp and secure. The pool was so refreshing after a long day. The breakfast was very good and prepared specifically to our liking and serving time. The room was clean and the AC made sleeping at night very comfortable. The staff was friendly, cheerful, and helpful. They secured tours for us, provided local directions, and helped with our take-away food delivery orders. We stayed 3 nights but would've been happy to stay 3 weeks."

"The hotel is lovely, the rooms are amazing, right on the Chobe River. The food is delicious. But the excursions ended up hurting the experience a bit.
The Chobe River is the border between Namibia and Botswana. We arrived via Botswana, and the only way to reach the hotel is by boat. And every time you leave the hotel, you need to take a boat and go through 2 immigration processes (entry and exit of each country), both on arrival and departure from the hotel. There's no way to do anything that...

"We stayed here for 3 nights and were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is ideally located for visiting Chobe National Park on your own as it is only a few minutes’ drive from the gate.
The staff are well trained, very friendly and extremely helpful. This hotel is next to a petrol station and supermarket. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The hotel also has a restaurant where you can enjoy good food at a great price. If you prefer not to arrange individual excursions yourself, they...

"Overall I enjoyed the hotel, staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean, but they need a refresh. The rooms were old, worn. I did love the balcony and view of the watering hole (fun to see the many animals), the bed was comfortable, linens soft. We went to the Bomba show hosted at this property. Would highly recommend, food and show were great! Worth it."

"A lovely lodge located on a gentle hill overlooking the plains. Staff are phenomenal, warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We went on a morning game drive and a sundowner, both were excellently arranged. Whilst there is limited choice for food, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all provided and the food was tasty and homemade well seasoned. They made our daughter chips. We loved the warm rock cakes! The hotel manager is a real gem. The lodge was well signposted and easy to find, it’s...

"If I could give 6+ stars (instead of max 5) for customer service, I would do so. After my tour organizer (avoid: Afrinature) was a no show for one tour and cancelled game drive only hours before, the staff at Hotel in short order called their trusted partners to ensure I didn't miss out on any experience in Kasane. I am just so grateful as some people might have simply said, "too bad." When I come back, I am staying with Hotel Rustiek and arranging my tours thru them. Thank you!!!!"

"Very good location with beautiful river view! All the staffs are friendly with smiles. Although there were always big groups of tourists but we’ve been treated well at breakfast and dinner though we were just 2 of us.
But the problem was the maintenance. After soaking in the bath just after 9 pm, I tried to have a shower but no hot water came out. No matter how long I waited, nothing happened, so I tried to ring reception—only to find that the telephone cable had come loose and I couldn’t get...

"Hotel is about 15 minute drive to Chobe National Park and to cruise. The Lodge itself is very basic. The maintenance staffs are very attentive and try very hard to make guests comfortable.
The sunset cruise is must. Boat operator and guide Sha is so skillful and sensitive. He explains many insightful knowledges on wildlife. He always knows where wildlife are: yawning hippos, fighting crocodiles and lizards, heard of swimming elephants, rare Cape buffalo, birds, hundreds water lilies and...
