"My stay at the Mercure Hotel in Pembury was okay. My room was on the ground floor and adequate. The bathroom was very clean and cleaned for the three days that I stayed there. The bed was made and the room was clean daily and I have no complaints about it. The room was adequate for my needs.. The only slight grumble I have is that I did not find the staff very friendly. "The location was very peaceful but close to many beautiful places National Trust etc. The bedroom was comfortably furnished with an excellent walk in shower. The lounge / dining area also was very comfortable with a lovely outlook. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The host was friendly and informative. A really excellent place to stay."

Our room was very old fashioned and the bathroom felt unclean .On one of the hottest days of the year there wasnt even a fan to help cope with the heat.
