My review
The hotel was okay. There is a free parking. Room was decent. Receptionist was old and he spoke English pretty bad. Brekfast could be better. The beach is pretty close. (10min walking)

Old but decent
Nothing too much to say about this hotel, it's good that it has big parking, pretty big rooms with air conditioning, elevator and its really close to the sea. It was a bit hard to talk with the guy from the reception because he couldn't speak English at all.

Hotel was quiet only a few guests, clean tidy and made welcome Hotel tired in parts but overall nice place to stay a little way from town

Great hotel. Beautiful ocean view
Staff was very welcoming. Hotel had beautiful views. We only stayed one night. Bed was very comfy. Great WiFi. Would stay again.

Albergo in posizione panoramica vicino al mare
Conoscevo da tempo l'hotel Helios dove ritorno sempre volentieri. E' situato in una magnifica posizione panoramica sulla costa da cui si vede la città di Crotone e il promontorio di Capo Colonna. Le camere sono comode, pulite e accoglienti. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. L'albergo dista alcuni km dal centro della città che si raggiunge, comunque, in pochi minuti d'auto. Consigliabile per soggiorni sia di lavoro che di vacanza. Ottimo il prezzo avuto tramite Expedia.

Stanza al 1 piano molto pulita e nuova. Veduta bellissima da terrazzino e dalla zona colazione. Comodo parcheggio e prezzo onesto.Cosa volere di più per viaggi di lavoro?

Disappointing
We were disappointed with our stay. It was supposed to have a self laundry so I could do a load of clothes; but it had only a laundry service--not the same at all. The shower had black mold--I even took pictures. Breakfast was good but not great.

Hotel situado en zona de playa retirado de Crotone, bien dotado y con un buen servicio. Adecuada relación calidad-precio. Fácil parqueo.

hotel Helios
Hotellet var rent o fint.ligger uppe på en backe. För att komma till stranden måste man för backen, korsa en trafikerad väg, totalt till stranden fr hotellet cirka 150 m. Vi var på hotellet i två dagar, personalen var kunnig, frukosten var bra.

Newish hotel walking distance from beach.
Have been on the road for six weeks. Best room encountered by far. Great views over Med from own good sized balcony. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet because out of season.

Isolated and bad breakfast buffet
Stayed at hotel helios sept 26-29/14. Hotel was empty. Thus they put out very little food at buffet. Had to ask for bread and fruit, cutlery, milk. I think in the summer they have hot food as they have the warming ovens there but are empty. The cakes and cookies were old and looked leftover from many days. Only good thing was their capaccinos.

nice option close to the beach
Hotel Helios was a delightful place to enjoy my vacation with my friend. Above all we loved the large terrace attached to the room where we could sip local wine every evening. The hotel itself was perhaps built around the 80's but well-maintained and the rooms are beautifully updated. The restaurant on the ground floor serves tasty seafood and other local delicacies. The staff were friendly and courteous but you would need to be able to know the Italian modus operandi (and the language if you could) to fully take advantage of what this gem on the Crotone beach can offer.
