"Hotel was very nice overall. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant / bar area was very nice, although the food itself was average at best. The staff was as helpful as possible. At night the girl serving as hostess was also the one who checked us in. Although the hotel wasn't in the heart of the main shopping, restaurant and pub area it was a quick taxi ride to get there. Parking on site was very convenient."

"Great location in Cong. Close to everything. Parking wasn't a problem. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. The only advice is that they don't have an elevator/lift. If you're on the second floor, you will have to haul your luggage up a narrow flight of stairs. Also, like most places in Ireland, no wash clothes. "

"Room was clean and the staff were great to us. Hotel’s location was also great. 5 minute walk to the city centre, train, bus station, and Lidl (supermarket). Only thing that could have been better is a little bench for luggage and possibly another chair. We were two people so it would get crammy at times. Also, the walls are thin. Everything can be heard from the hallway. Luckily we had a corner room so it wasn’t bad at all. Overall, we would definitely come to the Dean again!"

We had the top floor room (quadruple room but three beds) which meant a lot of stairs (28 each way) each time we left the room. "Lovely ocean facing room with lots of space.Bith the room and bathroom were clean if a little old fashioned. Staff in reception were very helpful but found the restaurant( Brasserie) staff a efficient but not particularly warm or welcoming. Location very good for sea front and for transport linksgto town centre.Some good bars and restaurants around- better value than eating in the hotel"

"AMAZING location. Great for if you’re planning on hitting the town and want somewhere near night life and super walkable. Ambiance from the Latin Quarter was great. Saw reviews of it being too loud, but it was really quiet with the windows closed so not sure what that’s all about. Very nice staff and good continental breakfast. Absolutely would recommend"
