"While the rooms are starting to need a little updating, it was clean, neat and comfortable. The property itself offered a lot to do with free kayaks, a fish pond, large yard and inside and outside fire pit. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a nice sized pool and hot tub. Free breakfast in the morning. AND economical!"
"Only inconvenience is the road in front of the hotel is a fast-moving highway with no pedestrian crossing toward the lake, which may not be the responsibiliy of the hotel. But still.."

"Very clean room. Bed was comfortable. If your room is on the back of the hotel, you get a beautiful view from your room’s small balcony.
Friendly staff. Breakfast is typical Holiday Inn Express, but the hours are too short for travelers leaving early or sleeping late.

"Just a one night stay back in my old stomping grounds. The bed and pillows super comfortable. Room was really nice. Shower had great pressure - only concern is the shower curtain would not stay in tiled area and floor got wet. Great location and would recommend. "
"Cute log cabin theme and decor. Has free breakfast, an indoor pool and jacuzzi, and staff is very helpful and polite. Workout room is a treadmill, eliptical, and workout bike but is better than nothing. Also has a washer and dryer for guest use. Our room was clean and beds were comfy. We stayed here for 4th of July weekend and will keep this in mind for the future. "
"This place deserved five stars not because it was like the Ritz-Carlton, but rather because it delivered what it promised. The room was spacious and clean; the staff was very friendly and helpful; the price was reasonable; the breakfast was good; and the place was in a convenient location. If I was in that area again, or driving through it, I would certainly stay again. "
