Hotel Duomo stay

Excellent stay overall. Very clean well maintained and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The one single minor criticism I have is that at the very end I needed to pay a so-called “city tax” which I had never heard of. But considering the quality of everything else (and the fact that this tax was only six euros) this is only a minor criticism. Overall, highly recommended

Cute, quaint, perfect location!

Amazing quaint hotel perfectly located next to main square and Cathedral. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Hotel was beautiful, quaint and fits perfectly into surrounds. Feels like you are staying in a historic place but updated rooms make it very comfortable. The restaurant there is amazing! We ate there both nights, dined on patio one night and was just a great experience. Would definitely recommend

Excellent location, in the heart of Cremona. The hotel is approximately a 20 minute walk from the railway station. The hotel is very close to all the main attractions in Cremona (violin museum, cathedral etc). There was a good choice of food on offer at breakfast (table service) and the hotel has a restaurant attached to it, which offers dining options for both lunch and dinner. The hotel seemed a very popular choice for dinner. Ideal for a weekend break.

The Hotel Duomo is lovely. Just the right size and comfort level. And the location must be the best in the city! The cathedral is right outside the entrance - and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance. It was also close to the Violin Museum which was the reason for our visit. The breakfast offerings were generous and delicious. We would stay again.

Home from home

Great hotel and staff, excellent food, very convenient central location with Duomo on doorstep and plenty of bars, shops and sights nearby. Could be seen as a restaurant with guest rooms just as much as a hotel, which added greatly to its comfort and ambience. Will certainly return.

Perfect location

The hotel is in a wonderful location in the centre of Cremona. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Breakfast excellent. We found the room very cramped, lacking in natural light and with little ventilation. The sound proofing was poor as we were frequently disturbed at night by loud conversations in the next room.

The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Plentiful European breakfast is included. The room was fairly small and the toiletries included are quite basic. We only stayed overnight so it was not an issue, but had we stayed longer we would have preferred a nicer room.

The hotel is really central in Cremona. However, the airconditioning is not working because they refuse to turn them on. In the restaurant the ac was on. One of the staffmembers kept telling us they were not a bar, because she would not serve us a cup of coffee out on the terrace. The terrace is there! I am staying at the hotel! When we checked out, a day early because of the unfriendly behaviour, that same staffmember was sighing so loudly over and over again because we were bothering her breakfast routine. Done with this place

Location is perfect, re epitomizes very ni e and the dinner was great however, the room was very narrow and long. I was on the 2nd floor and away from the front street but people sat outside until around 1 am and I was able to hear each word they said. I could not sleep until they left. The day after I simply exchange the hotel.
