"Stayed at the 3 horseshoes as a mid way break on our way up To The Lake District for an wedding, hotel is clean and comfortable, bar is well stocked and they weren’t Charing rip off prices, the restaurant was very good , wide range of food available, we were joined by our daughter and 6 year old granddaughter for dinner , the staff were really accommodating with us changing time of meal … even though they seemed a bit under pressure as they had a wedding taking place …"

"Lovely hotel located in a serene setting with ample and free parking. We enjoyed great conversation with the friendly staff, especially those in the beautiful dining room. The breakfast was cooked to order and to perfection…delicious! The room was very clean although a bit smaller than we expected but the bathroom was spacious and fully remodeled. It is an old building (squeaky floors, flight of stairs to bedrooms) but it has an interesting history and vintage furniture pieces placed about. We...

"Hotel really quaint, food in restaurant nice, bar area also really nice! Our room was well decorated with lovely bathroom only small but everything you require! The only thing I would suggest is that there was an iron and ironing board in the room! "
