"A delightful find in Sintra. Ne need to stay at a big name hotel when this boutique place has EVERYTHING. We got the least expensive room since ours was a shot stay. We were assigned a charming room in the former wine cellar. No elevator and we were prepared to carry our suitcases downstairs but the staff insisted on doing it. Our room had a nice size bed which definitely filled the room but there was a little sitting area and a perfectly roomy bathroom with a walk in shower. The room was small but a small bottle of wine came with it. An honor bar provides snack and drinks. The area is charming and we would definitely go back."

"Beautiful quaint location perfect for relaxing... Only watch out is site does not have air conditioning in the rooms... That being said, leaving balcony door open provided a nice breeze. "I love this place - it has character, a great location, and feels like a little piece of old school glamour, albeit rough round the edges in places. This was a repeat visit after six years away. The breakfast was lovely, the property is really special. We stayed in a room away from the main house and had our own little outdoor area - slightly tired, but then the character of the place makes up for this, it feels so much more charming than soulless chain hotels."

"Beautiful building and swimming pool a short walk up hill from the old town. The breakfast was spectacular. My room was very small with only a bed a very small table and side chair but the common areas in the hotel were spacious and empty. The staff was very nice."
