"3rd trip to the Serawa. Excellent small hotel with amazing staff. Joanna on reception is an asset to any business and is very very helpful. And Vania and Carmen made every breakfast fun and friendly. All of the guys in the kitchen help make what I can only say is my favourite breakfast. The gardeners are also very friendly and have done a fantastic job. The pool area does need some attention. New sunloungers and a bit of money spent on the poolside itself"

"We felt so at home in this beautiful boutique house. Attention to detail was everything… Everyone made us feel so at home… almost like it was our own home. We met Salema when we arrived and what a beautiful welcome she gave us… by the end of our 4 night stay, it felt like we had known her for much longer. "We stayed at “The Apartment” which is located in a different building, about 5 minutes walking from the hotel. Beautifully decorated and impeccable, cute little patio (if you like cats, please let the hotel know so they will let them go in). The j Hotel lobby is gorgeous. Expedia didn’t explain that the parking is €17 daily and NOT included. Also you need to leave a €20 deposit in cash only, to take the parking remote with you."

"What a fabulous hotel. Don’t be put off by its location in a commercial area. We stayed there for three nights to attend a wedding at the nearby Casa Sontanja. It was the perfect base. Just a short drive down the coast on our spare day. Whatever your reason for being in the area, I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough."

"Location is unbeatable, the beach view from the room is beautiful. The amenities are great, lots of goodies in the room, and the food in the hotel’s restaurants was pretty good. The only thing I think can be improved are the pillows to sleep, they felt too thick which caused cervical pain to us every morning. The staff is great, especially the kids club staff members."
