"Lynda's accomodation is designed for both form and function. There's enough seating area outside for every type of weather. When it's sunny you can sit in front of the house or lie in the grass, when there's rain you can huddle inside or sit under the canopy. "What a gem of a small, cosy hotel! I booked a small double, but we were upgraded to a suite with a sea view, as it was my daughters birthday. Beautifully clean, with white fluffy towels, toiletries, tea, coffee and a fridge! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay more comfortable....very friendly, helpful, kind and very generous. My daughter was provided with a birthday cake, which i asked for their help for shopping for one as a surprise for my daughter.....they didn't even...

"The room was spotless,spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. It had a very large shower and bath. Shampoo was provided along with body wash and bath salts. The towels were spotless.The room had everything that you needed such as tea and coffee, buscuits and a hair dryer. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was amazing. "Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out."

It's a shame they don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options in Barmouth centre just 10 minutes walk away though you will have an uphill walk back. Really enjoyed my stay. "
