Shower pressure was good and although it was very cold outside the room was a very nice temperature. Room was fairly compact and basic but great value for money in the area. The room is small but great for a budget one. Check in and out was a breeze. The room felt like staying in an inside cabin of a cruise ship if it was designed by IKEA. Had everything I needed to stay the night, rest and get ready the next day. The breakfast was a buffet and included most of the important part people look for during that time. Not great for big families or with kids but for singles or couples it makes a great budget choice right by the central station area

The bathroom was smelly, from the drain. They ran out of freshly baked bread for breakfast. The hotel is a budget hotel with basic standard. Small room, but everything you need. Comfortable bed and clean room (except from the smell in the bathroom). Good location.

The CABINN stay was perfect. We used it only for sleeping and breakfast, the rooms are about the size of a cabin on a cruise ship! As a person who is gluten free the breakfast choice was small with only scrambled eggs on the hot bar. The staff kindly provided a gf roll which was tasty with the jam or sliced meat. Staff were able to answer questions about transportation and point us in various directions. We walked 37 miles in 5 days and found the hotel to be very central.

The room was very clean, and the hotel was in a great location. The room was extremely hot when we arrived with no air flow. The bathroom though clean smelled very milldewy and did not have a fan. Overall the room was fine, very small but that was expected. The bathroom was difficult and too small.

Clean Budget Hotel

The hotel is ideally placed being less than a 10 minute walk from the railway station (which is only 3 stops from the airport). It's also right by Tivoli Gardens with the closest entrance being opposite the railway station. The room we had was small but had everything we needed - twin beds, a tv, tea & coffee & a small ensuite shower room. We both found the beds comfortable but we got very hot overnight despite having the window open. The reception staff were very helpful & can provide a hair drier if you need one. Our room was right by the lit up hotel sign which did illuminate the room overnight, good for us as my daughter likes a night light generally. The hotel also offers luggage storage (at your own risk) which we used on our final day. The downsides were the fact that we got very hot overnight despite having the window open 24/7 and then were disturbed early morning (5am'ish) by dustcarts or deliveries to the building site that was just up the road. Having said that we would happily stay here again as it served our purpose and was ok for a budget hotel and we imagine that once the building works are complete it will be a lovely quiet place to stay.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff kind and helpful. The lifts were temperamental, but lifts always are! I could hear the lift go from my room, as the walls were quite thin, luckily I'm not a light sleeper! There were limited hot vegetarian options for breakfast however

Really enjoyed the stay, a slight bit of an unusual place but it was very warm and slept well, no main lighting but there are small lights dotted around instead. Shower was hot and good pressure but the floor gets very wet afterwards. No issue however. The downstairs communal area we used a lot more than we thought we would, a few TVs and seating, good toilets and travel info. Captain room included a balcony and hair dryer, and a lot more floor space, but I was very happy in the Commodore room. Staff are lovely and helpful so I would happily stay again. Would definitely go back again
