We were able to check in earlier than the 3:00 pm The man greeted us warmly and spoke English. He explained everything so thoroughly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower was hot and had good pressure The location was perfect close to the train station. Everything was within walking distance. Excellent stay! Highly recommend!

Hotel stay

The hotel was basic but clean, and the gentleman who saw us when we arrived was friendly and helpful, we didn’t see anyone after that, and from what I could tell the hotel offered breakfast but had no other services

The room was clean and comfortable, basically what you would expect from a ‘no frills’ hotel. Check in was quick and straightforward. The hotel is at the end of Glockenglasse and was very quiet at night. There’s a bar next door serving traditional German food and local beer, which was very pleasant and friendly. All in all it was a very pleasant stay there.

It was a pleasant stay. Located in the center. Everything is within walking distance. The noise is unavoidable due to location but I didnt find it a problem. The heater works at top notch condition. Quickly warms the room.

This was a decent overnight stay. It is what it’s advertised a low budget, but clean, safe, and convenient location for a short stay in Koln. No frills, but it had everything I needed for my stay.

You need to buy new pillows, they are terrible, everything inside is broken together and you sleep like on stones. The mattress is too hard, the bed is uncomfortable, the room is hot and this windmill does not help, the price is too high if there is not even air conditioning.

The Worst Portion of our Trip to Cologne

We were not given any instructions, or email on how to check-in, as no one was present and doors were locked two hours prior to check-in closeout. Only way we didn't end up on the streets, as there was no phone number an American phone or Whatsapp could contact, was another tenant aiding us. Room was cramped with pillows little more than pillowcases. Breakfast was facetious at best, as we were instructed that the food laid out wasn't for guests, even though our reservation said so, and one of the ONLY staff scolded us when we just tried being polite and asking questions. Finally we only met a 'reception' on the 2nd day that we were lucky to see, which demanded a city tax of 4% of our total price which for some reason wasn't part of the original booking, and afterwards we were demeaned when we asked how to check out as the owner was in the process of leaving before 1500 and we wanted to be as non-problematic as possible.

日本人が思うホテルではなくマンションのワンルームを部屋にしました！みたいな感じ。チェックイン前に荷物を預けていいですか？とメールでやり取りしてて、いつでもいいよ！と言われていたけど10時ぐらいにホテルに行ったら閉まってた。15時から23時までしか受付の人いないよ！的なことが入り口に書いてありました。14時ぐらいにホテルに戻ったら受付の人がいてアーリーチェックインか宿泊税かわからないけど20ユーロ払ってチェックインできました。チェックインした後は部屋の鍵＋ホテル入り口の鍵を渡されるので自由に出入りできます！FKKに行ってて帰るのは深夜2時ぐらいだったけどタクシーで帰ってきて無事入れました！アメニティはタオルとトイレのスリッパぐらい。テレビがあってそこからUSB－Ａ端子で充電できます。コンセントは全てドイツ規格なので他では充電できません。

The hotel was perfectly located for being able to walk to all Christmas markets. There were plenty of shops, restaurants and tourist attractions nearby. The room was modern with all necessities. I will stay here again if I visit Cologne.
