We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Chelsea. The staff was helpful and our accommodation was clean and spacious. We loved the neighborhood which was full of delicious restaurants, including the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. We did not eat our breakfast there, but the lunch was really nice.

Very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The area is very nice, lots of small restaurants and bars.They could have provided a better chair in the room so people could work comfortably.

It's a small Hotel at a great location. I did get a room someone recently had smoked in which I didn't like that much. However my stay was quite decent and comfortable.

First of all, all the facilities are well-equipped, and the furniture is space-efficient and practical. Everything you need is sensibly located. However, if you are over 165cm tall, even the double bed is too small to turn over, and above all, it is too noisy. I couldn't sleep properly because of the noise of people in the cafe right below and the bar across the street eating and drinking until 4am. (And the occasional ambulance passing by.) If you don't mind all the noise, it's worth staying. Lastly (as is the case with all of Cologne), the distance from the tram stop is ambiguous. It's too far to walk, but if you take the tram, it's not much of a difference, and if you walk a block or two, you'll almost always be close to your destination.

For an inexpensive hotel the Chelsea is to be cheerfully recommended. Rooms were comfortable and clean if a bit barren. I liked that I could control the heat in each of the rooms. There's no lobby to meet friends but there is a cafe on street level that seems to be part of the hotel and is very handy. They serve delicious food and are very friendly as are is the hotel staff. A good deal all around.

Very friendly service in all levels, however it felt a bit unorganised. They should definitely pay attention to cleanliness and presentation to the open areas and carpets ( full of stains, also in our room). We stayed in room 55. The electric blinds were not working. Other than that, bed was very comfortable and the room, a part from the carpet and dirty windows and not working blinds, was clean.

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, dass dringend renoviert gehört. Parkplätze waren alle vergeben bei der Ankunft (wie kann das sein?!) Und die Fenster waren sehr hellhörig… für Leute mit leichtem Schlaf ist es auf alle Fälle nichts.
