Nice hotel

The hotel was close to the centre, 10min walk. There was also a station right by the hotel if needing transport to the centre station, too. The bar and lounge area was very nice and the room was very clean. The staff on check-in were lovely. One small downfall was the noise of the door at night, you could hear the main door slamming each time someone would enter or exit.

Clean, comfortable hotel in a nice area of the city. There were many restaurants and historical sights within walking distance. Also, a train station was directly outside with S-bahn and Tram connections so it was easy to reach other areas of the city.

Huge rooms, bit noisy on the station side.

Was here for a quick stay in Cologne. The rooms are huge! Really spacious. I was in the station side unfortunately, which meant it was a bit noisy. That was the only big draw back. Breakfast was great, service friendly, parking garage is a bit tight (you don't want to drive an SUV here) but that's pretty common in Europe. Overall, I'd stay again.

Check in was poor. Staff member took a call while checking me in and that call went on a long time. She didn't apologise [Check in 6.30pm Weds 22nd Oct 2025]. She seemed agitated by my being there and in no hurry to help. The worst Premiere Inn check in ever. Bathroom towels are thin and the hand towel was threadbare [I have photos]. The hotel reception is about 4 foot high and not suitable for someone using a wheelchair. Stunning historic building and several lifts from the ground level up. They have a ramp but as I say - you can't check in as reception is too high. Someone who need to come to the other side of counter. Very disappointing in a new hotel in 2025! Breakfast was good.

Großes Zimmer mit gutem Bett. Lage direkt an viel befahrenen Bahngleisen, deshalb auch bei geschlossenem Fenster auch in der Nacht laut. Lage sonst gut, kurzer Weg in die Stadt. Heizung über Klimaanlage konnte das große Zimmer nicht ausreichend erwärmen, im Bad gar keine Heizung . Zugluft auch bei ausgeschalteter Klimaanlage.

The room was very spacious and clean. Location is fantastic as the hotel is right next to the overground station. This was a saviour as there was terential rain on the day. Service on the hand, possibly understaffed. The breakfast arrangement was a terrible sight with plates left piled across all the tables. Also I strongly recommend that they place a fragerance in the entrance to the reception as the scent of stale food combined with other ill smelling factors was very unpleasant.

Das Zimmer war Richtung Gleisanlage am Hansaring, dementsprechend sehr laut auch bei geschlossenen Fenster. Duschkainentüre liss sich nicht vernünftig schließen, somit stand das bad nach einer Dusche unter Wasser. War diesmal nicht annähernd der gewohnte Standard von Premier Inn.

Eine unangekündigte Evakuierungsübung erzeugte während meines Urlaubs maximalen Stress. Des Weiteren waren die Sirenen so schrill und laut, dass ich durch diese immer noch ein Pfeifen in den Ohren habe. Und das, obwohl gar kein Notfall vorlag.
