"We had the perfect stay. The Owls Nest was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. From the comfy bed, hot tub and the Webber bbq all made it so relaxing. Dog friendly which was a bonus. Jenny & Margaret were great hosts. We appreciated the special touches. We had such a lovely time that booked to go again before we left. Highly recommended."

"Lovely old building, good location exceptional breakfast. Parking is a bit of a nightmare after a 10 point turn in the car park had to find parking across the road which was no problem for my little car but you might struggle with a bigger car."

"We stayed in an Executive run which was well maintained and spacious if a little dated. Bathroom had been updated but corners had been cut like an old siding on the bath. Air con worked well and the room was quiet overnight. Breakfast wasn’t great. Limited choices and the eggs were terrible both scrambled and fried, but it was only £10 each. It was good value for money overall and convenient for a stroll into town to catch the shuttle bus to Llangollen Pavilion. Would imagine it gets very...

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable."

"The hotel was beautiful and clean, staff went out of their way to be helpful. The spa was great and I loved the pool. Breakfast was ok but after choosing the fish option at an extra cost I found the fish to be rather overcooked. Otherwise excellent."

Hallways smelled a little of manure … The drinks were expensive too… Half the spa facilities were not working… Otherwise, the peacocks are a nice touch and the landscaping is beautiful. "Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants"

"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...
