We are sorry that you were not happy with your accommodations. 99.9% of our guests love the rustic and historic nature of the cabins in the Yellowstone area. The 2 bedroom cabin that you rented accommodated 4 guests and rents for 249.00 per night plus taxes. Our prices are equal to or less than most of the other lodges in the area. Breakfast options at the lodge range from 9.95 to 13.95 for food. That is very comparable to prices throughout the country, and very reasonable for a remote vacation destination. Unfortunately, inflation has been extremely tough on food prices out here. Coffee is 2.95 for unlimited refills as well as additional coffee to go which many guests opt for. It is not 3.95 per cup as implied. If you felt the prices were unreasonable, you had the option of not having breakfast with us. It is not mandatory. We have a menu with prices that you order off of, so to see what is offered, order, and then complain about the listed price afterwards seems very unrealistic. With the lodges in the area being rustic and historic, they do have low ceilings. There is nothing that can be done to change that as we are not allowed to make any structural changes, only cosmetic. We are located in the Shoshone National forest, which borders Yellowstone park 10 miles away. This is a remote and mountainous area. Internet is very difficult and expensive in the area. We have both internet from a local company and starlink. With both, there is still limited internet, and it is best in the main lodge as opposed to the cabins. As guests are out here to visit the park and enjoy and experience the beauty of nature, running cable to put televisions in each cabin does not make sense. We do have a tv in the game room of the lodge, and it is used less than once a week on average. Again, we are offering rustic and historic cabins in nature, not a motel experience in town or a city.

Hello Linda: I believe you misunderstood. The information we provide to all guests upon arrival includes "We are located in Shoshone National Forest. We are on a well and cistern. We request guests be somewhat conservative with water usage. (There is not or has not been any issue with our septic system.) For multiple night stays, we do not provide daily housekeeping. If you would like fresh towels, trash taken out, etc, please let us know and we are happy to do so.
