"We absolutely loved our stay at the Herbert House!! We were looking for a convenient, walkable location that was also quiet as we have a toddler. This place delivered!! We easily walked to downtown and restaurants but also enjoyed breakfast on site every morning. The family who runs this home is very sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. For example the crib for our toddler was all set up and was a nice, cozy cot! Easy parking and a great place to come back to after we...
"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean. Loved that they have a water tap at the entrance to fill your water bottle. Walkable. Easy parking."
"Great property in a great location. Staff and property was 5 star. Beautiful, helpful and friendly. Would absolutely stay here again. The location was amazing also but still very secluded and quiet."
"The Ross is a small hotel right in town. The rooms are a little dated, but well maintained. Room 205 overlooks a cemetery, which may be an issue for some. The included breakfast is sit down with some delicious hot options (I.e. omelets, Irish Breakfast, etc). The bar around the corner, Paddy Sheehan’s had awesome live musical performances. There’s also a large/nicer gift shop nearby, Christy’s. The hotel itself has a bar downstairs, Polly’s. They had a decent selection of top shelf...
"The room we had was very spacious. It however might pose a challenge for people who have mobility issues as there are several sets of stairs and no elevator access to certain rooms. "
"This is an absolutely beautiful property. It was the best we stayed in over the 10 days touring Ireland. Their spa is amazing. Their food is wonderful and it is extremely clean. The location is perfect."
"Great hotel! Situated right in the middle of the town with easy parking close by.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Accommodation was above the bar area but it was not noisy.
Included breakfast was great.
Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it."

Fantastic staff, huge and nice rooms, great pool and exercise facilities, nice dining and restaurant options, big and good buffet breakfast included, lots of free parking on site. The only downside is that it is about a 30 minute walk to downtown Killarney and there's no shuttle option. But, to be fair, AFAIK, no other hotels runs shuttles to downtown Killarney, and the city doesn’t have any public...
