"Although the hotel has a beautiful and unique decor, I found the overall experience to be only satisfactory. The amenities were somewhat lacking (e.g. no glasses or plasticware in the room). The food at the restaurant was good but nothing special. I expected more based on the pictures of the hotel property."

"For someone who has stayed at many hotels for work & vacations, this one takes a good slice of the cake. Driving up to property I can tell it wasn’t going to be a good stay homeless people standing & walking around so already wasn’t feeling safe. Shot staffed in the office took almost an hour just to get checked in mind you I already had a reservation. Drive to my room observing the place & noticing drugged out people knocking on random doors not a place I wanted to stay. Fearing for my safety & my vehicle I found a spot to park. I get to my room & it smelled heavy on cigarette smoke, room looked rundown light fixtures old worn out cabinets were old and almost falling apart, refrigerator door was broken hard to close, big holes with patches on bathroom door restroom door wouldn’t close properly. Go to take shower there was long black women's hair all over the shower walls & floor. What looked to be blood on shower curtain. Person in room next to mine was up all night making noise. Worst stay I’ve had. Called my wife and told her we will never stay at the place again. I’m glad it was me only staying & not my family."

"This is obviously an old building that the Hilton partially refurbished and put their name on it (I am surprised at that). There were stains in the bathtub and the ceiling needed some "joint" work. It wasn't coming apart but was in need of repair. Room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental so not much to expect there but was more than adequate. One of my favorite things was that the parking was free (Yay). One other key thing is that that there was adequate water pressure and volume to take a shower."
