"Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you."

"The hotel is very close to RHS Wisley, which is why we booked it. The staff (Nicholas, in particular) and others were very welcoming and helpful. The inn is historically interesting and the room we had was a four poster and very large. Everything was clean and tidy. There was a kettle, an electric fan and a heater, TV. However, ameneties other than a shower/body wash were lacking. No shower cap or sachets of moisturiser/hand soap provided. The bed was large and OK for one night. We had a meal...

"This was by far one of the best inn rooms I have slept in for years. The bed was big and comfortable with a great mattress topper, two big wide windows for air. "The room was super clean and welcoming. Very nice honesty bar with some well needed snacks. Lovely guest toiletries in bathroom and everything you would need to have a pleasant & welcoming stay. The breakfast staff were particularly helpful and kind. I will be back when next in the area. "
