"Staying here for a quick night before a flight home worked out fine, but the room itself was a bit uncomfortable. The double beds run quite small, and the room stayed uncomfortably warm even with the thermostat set all the way down to seventeen degrees. It got the job done for a short layover, but the sleep quality definitely suffered due to the temperature and bed size."

"Pre airport sleep stay. A/C worked well enough. No hot water, but the unheated water was refreshing and not too cold. Staff were great. Tight parking, but manageable. Centrally located."

"It's a nice place to spend the night while waiting for a flight. However, the food could have been much better. Example of this was the bland and large portion of food. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant."

"We stayed one night in July on our way through, and we would have loved an additional night or two. Such a beautiful property - comfortable room, delicious food, clean pool, helpful staff, and lots of wildlife around to enjoy! Our young kids loved the playground near the restaurant, too. I can't say enough good things about this place. I look forward to staying here again. The wildlife rescue next door was also a highlight - don't miss it!"

"The hotel was sparse but absolutely clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to restaurants, and staff gave me a great rundown of restaurant options. The morning coffee in the lobby was outstanding, and the garden was peaceful. A simple, lovely first night in Costa Rica."
