Upon entering the room, we were greeted with a pleasant surprise of special welcome cheesecake, chocolates scented pillow relaxation spray and a welcome note! They truly went above and beyond on our special request and definitely had an amazing mother’s day stay🍰🎉🍾"

"The best hotel in Auckland! Beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean rooms. Amazing staff, that are always attentive and helpful. There is nothing to fault at Hotel DeBrett. I have stayed at Intercontinental Auckland, Park Hyatt, Hotel Britomart…Hotel DeBrett is my favourite of the lot. Staff at Vivace, the onsite restaurant are also just wonderful. Always have a smile on their face and very welcoming. Nothing to fault whatsoever! 5 stars all round."

"Check in queue takes time, they should have put more staff to accommodate clients faster. Upon checking in our room looks like not that ready to be occupied as there were no bathrobe, slippers, and towels. Tried to call thrice the operator to request for it but not picking up so ended up that my husband went down the lobby to request for it. Not our first time checking in and we’re quite satisfied with our previous experience here but this time our expectations were not really met and it’s more...

"Slight smell from the restaurant's outside in the lobby when you walked in but once you got to reception you could not smell it. Great location, staff and very easy parking. Will stay here again."

"We got a double room with our own bathroom, clean & comfortable for us. If you are over 30 you will feel old, this is a hostel. Easy walk to the waterfront. We had drinks and a great salad at the onsite restaurant. "
