"Very poor communication, did not hear from anyone up until about 5 minutes before checking. We had no where to go with our luggage and ended up paying for someone to watch it so we didn't have to pull it all over. "This is a lobby-less hotel. You meet up with an agent who hands you a key and describes how to get to the room. It is located at the upper edge of Vernazza, on the road in. Very convenient if you have parked (as required) at the out of town parking lot. The shuttle ends right at the building. No need to roll your luggage down into town. It is on the 3rd floor, and has a very small elevator (you and a bag or two). No problems with the room. It is fairly simple and has the normal accoutrements. It is a short walk to the harbor. Lovely town."

"This charming room in Vernazza was a special space for our family of 3 for the couple days we explored Cinque Terra. Like most places in these villages, one had to climb through the narrow, winding walkways and stairs to access the room, but this made it more magical for us once we checked-in and could store our rolling luggage. It was like climbing up into a castle room. While we didn't have much communication with the hosts in the days prior (despite having left a couple messages through the Expedia app as suggested), in the hour before our arrival, we had great WhatsApp comms with the host who sent an excellent video showing the path to take to the apartment allowing us to check in early using the keypad to the building entrance, and then to meet them at a different location for final check-in. While small, the room was perfect for our visit (with good airconditioning and wifi). We would stay here again! Vernazza was well positioned to explore the other villages by walking paths and trains."
