"We traveled to Fermiselle to trace my family roots as my great grandfather immigrated to Cuba from there in the 1920’s. To say that the manager was accommodating would be an understatement. "Friendly exceptionally clean hotel with wonderful menu for dinner. Good wine list at friendly prices. The bed was a medical grade mattress which was a bit too firm for us. All in all a wonderful place to stay not far from Portugal Spanish border. Listing did not say that whilst it was off a listed road it was not now the main road so was quiet.Hotel refurbished a year or so ago and is popular with locals always a good sign "
