Good hotel in old part of Chur - about 15 mins walk from train station. Great rooms - comfy beds and clean. Breakfast very nice too. My only negative was the lady on check in who was quite unfriendly and did not give me a good first impression - I understand many people stay for just one night but that’s the nature of the town and the business. I found her quite intimidating

The room was clean and comfortable but a bit noisy - above the kitchen/entrance area so lots of coming and going. Staff were fabulous - welcoming, friendly and really helpful. Breakfast was great with a good range of meats and cheeses. Location is excellent. The nicest part of town with great restaurants nearby, but still walkable to the station.

Loved our stay here - we only had one Sunday night here, but Hotel Franziskaner was very welcoming. Our room was light, overlooked the main street, had plenty of space & a comfy bed. We ate in the restaurant - delicious food and great friendly service. Would love to stay here again.

We stayed in this lovely hotel the night before our trip on the Bernina express. The hotel is in the old town of chur which is really nice with lots of historic buildings, it was about 15 mins walk to the station so perfectly placed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was from 7 the next morning but we went in just before and there were already people in there. Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast which had plenty of choice to suit everyone. The room was warm and the bed comfortable our bathroom was huge and the shower was very good. This hotel is a small hotel and has lots of character I would definitely recommend it for couples.

I couldn't fault my stay at hotel Franziskaner. My room was very comfortable. I upgraded my room to have my own shower, a bit more expensive but it was worth it. I had breakfast every morning which was plentiful and as much coffee as i wanted. It was a 15 minute walk to the bus/train station which was very pleasant. Staff were very friendly.
