"What a gem! The location and the staff and the service were wonderful. Our room was breathtaking and comfortable. The food was good, especially the meat at the restaurant below. And the easy access to the lake and boat rides to local towns was super convenient. Everyone treated us like we were special guests, in a comfortable and good way. We’ll be back someday for sure!"

"Everything was beautiful"

"I was notified less than a week before my stay that the restaurant would not be available except for breakfast due to remodeling. The hotel gave the option to cancel but I didn't have time to consider other options. Unfortunately the remodeling seemed to be more than just the restaurant, and the construction noise made it impossible to relax and enjoy the property from 9-5 every day. "Mayan Inn is located at a very busy and noisy traffic intersection, yet it is conveniently located within walking distance from market."

At night the narrow or non-existent sidewalk caused one to be in close contact with the busy traffic when walking h"

"Too old and rooms made no sense"

"The property itself is very pretty and the greenery surrounding the courtyard. We got a three bedroom which was nice to have especially with three people, but one out of the three beds was hard. There are no fans on the ceilings or AC, but they do provide little fans. Overall, the rooms are clean and well maintained. There are decent rooms for a good price and a good location. It was very convenient for us."
