"Location is superb, 100 ft to Chippenham bus station, and leads than 10 minutes bistro from the train station. Room is spacious, so is the bathroom, big and renovated. Courtyard is nice. There is a leisure pool at site too. Huge parking lot at back. The buffet breakfast offered was full English style and truly great. Staffs were super friendly. "Easy to find and helpful staff when we arrived early . Light flickering in toilet but sorted by staff straight away . Found previous occupants half eaten Chinese takeaway still in the bin in the room which wasn’t great . Reported to reception all very apologetic but should really happen if housekeeping being done throughly . Maybe they just had an off day . Colleague in separate room only had one towel in the room, no bathmat and no hand towel but as a sole occupant she decided not to complain...

"We stayed for the 2nd time. It's a perfect location for us and we like this place. Staff is very nice, place is clean and has got everything you need. Shame they don't serve breakfast. Has got a massive parking, also there is a kebab outside so if you are hungry it's perfect to buy food. "The room was clean and comfortable, with everything you might want. Without exception, the team of people running the accommodation and the adjacent pub and restaurant were friendly, efficient and committed to making our stay enjoyable. We had both breakfast and evening meal in the pub restaurant - the breakfasts were good, and the quality of the evening meals was far better than we expected from this type of establishment."

"I had a warm welcome and my case was taken up to my room. The room was large with king sized bed. All clean, dated, but that suited the age of hotel! There was a small table with kettle and a selection of tea, coffee etc. Large en-suite with large shower. Lots of choices on breakfast menu and cooked freshly. Parking was easy. Location was excellent. 5 minutes walk to Lacock Abbey. Lacock is a very small place but very interesting."

"We stayed in the department down the street, apart from the hotel's main building. Its beautifully decorated interiors made us very happy throughout our stay. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning and we had to keep the windows open to keep cool, which led to spiders and noise from the main street coming in. The back garden needs a little bit of love, too. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay!"

"The hotel is very clean and ideally located, with shops nearby and an adventure centre with cinema and other entertainment facilities just across the road. We booked a family room and it was great, very spacious and clean. I requested a cot for my baby and it was in the room when we got there. The swimming pool and other facilities were wonderful, and we all enjoyed it. "Stayed here as a family with two kids. Included in the booking was an infant, but there was no travel cot, The sofa bed was really quite uncomfortable. We were able to have a hot shower in the evening, but there was no hot water in the morning. The plug on the bath was broken. The restaurant was unclean, there was food on the floor from the night before when coming down for breakfast.
