"Would have liked to have tried the Bar - Open - but didn't realise it was closed Sundays and Mondays and we were busy Saturday. Lovely room with a view towards the Cathedral and the Spark Building. The room was spacious and had all that we needed. My only concern is the 2 homeless people that slept outside the entrance to the Hotel all weekend. They didn't cause any bother that I saw but very off putting. The receptionist said the Police keep an eye on them but they never moved. Thanks to the Hotel for giving us a late checkout on our last morning. Much appreciated."

"What a wonderful stay! Both our hosts Steve and Chet were super helpful and friendly and made us feel completely relaxed. The old house has so much character, and the gardens were a real drawcard too. The house isn’t right in the city centre, but it is so easy to get around and everything is very close. We loved the quiet location with easy parking. It only took as a few minutes to get into the CBD. Steve and Chet have gone to a lot of effort with providing a map with all the highlights marked on it and even have further information such as restaurant and cafe recommendations on their website. The whole stay with them was great. I’d go back again in a heartbeat. It feels like visiting old friends, except that friends don’t go to this much effort to serve you such a great breakfast 😁"
