"Very clean room with plenty of tea making facilities and lots of hot water, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Helpful full length mirror in bedroom. Some of the communal areas look a bit tired, but staff welcoming and room was great for my needs (staying overnight in area ready for family get together). Great location for Hythe and walk along seafront short drive away."

"Recommend the 5 Bells and their team very highly. Both relaxed and very professional, from the minute I checked in to a great breakfast. I was en route to the channel tunnel. If you’re doing the same stay here, seriously."

"The family room was lovely and well equipped for 2 adults and 2 children. A couple of niggles in that the blind was broken in the bathroom and the rubbish bins were a bit on the small side. Staff were really lovely and nothing was any trouble. Breakfast was delicious and we had 1 meal there which was great. Lovely setting next to the river. Would highly recommend"

"Really enjoyed staying in the room that was on 2 floors. Great view of the sea. Room was OK. needs updating as does the rest of the hotel. The lift is very small. Could only get 2 small people in it. Not much room for anything else. Great Indian restaurant inside the hotel. Highly recommended that. Great location just needs updating. Great staff."

"Room was great and we were able to park outside the door which was appreciated. Our evening main meal in the pub was very good as was the breakfast in the morning. Would recommend to anyone wanting a bub bed and breakfast. "

"I would like to ask for a full refund really but I know I won't get one. We were left in property on our own and told to lock up when we come and go. The sheets on the beds were dirty. Bathroom dirty. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk. We left at half 4 in the morning with little or no sleep at all. Terrible place "

"Hotel overall was good. We were upgraded to sea view room which was nice. Rooms were clean and modern. Had everything you needed for your stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and dining area was pleasant. The spa was disappointing. Really needs some TLC. Very dated, could do with some attention. Changing rooms were not very clean. Unfortunately there were children having swimming lessons so not a nice relaxing experience 😞and difficult to have a proper swim. So that did...
