Amazing stay. The grounds were beautiful. The staff and service were impeccable, and the restaurants serve great food. Definitely recommendswhen in Chiang Mai (despite the 30 min drive from airport/markets)

Staff across the hotel were very good, but the pool service was dreadful. At no point did anyone come to the loungers to take drink orders – we had to walk up and order ourselves, yet were still charged service and tax on top. The location is stunning, but the resort is tired. It needs a full refresh: paintwork, woodwork, tiles, furniture – everything shows its age. Our premium room felt worn, and I would not want to pay double for one of the suites in its current condition. Housekeeping standards were also below expectations, which unfortunately mirrors my experience with other Accor properties, including So Bangkok. Overall, I would suggest choosing a Thai brand over an Accor hotel – you will likely get far better value, service and quality for your money.

As a solo traveler, I felt very safe at this hotel. The hotel staff were very polite and took great care of me as a guest. The food and the views were immaculate. Additionally, the complimentary activities and the free shuttle to the night bazaar was fantastic. My charger randomly broke in the middle of the night and the hotel staff charged my phone then walked with me to a local store to purchase a new one. I loved my stay.

The hotel is not in the city center where is located in a green land area. The room that I was staying is scenery pavilion with a large balcony with a large jacuzzi bathtub and a day bed on the side. It was really relaxing and comfy. The hotel staffs are nice and friendly, it was a very pleasant trip overall.

Service at Veranda was great, and the facilities were nice. The resort is lush with greenery, creating a relaxing atmosphere. However, I felt that the pool and restaurant could do without charging for necessities like drinking water—most resorts provide it complimentary, especially since there’s already plenty in the rooms. The service and communication were excellent, but the rooms felt a bit dated. Breakfast was mediocre, but the lovely ambiance made up for it. Overall, it was still a nice stay

This hotel was everything I wanted and more. The views were incredible and I wish I had dedicated 1 full day to enjoy all the amenities. They have some cultural classes and activities for you to enjoy as well as multiple pool areas. In addition it’s just a beautiful property to walk around. I can not recommend this hotel enough. Since it is further out from the city center the hotel can help organize taxi rides and the taxies are always on time.

They location was very calm and relaxing. I would have rated it a 5 except I did not like the bathroom. It was open to the room unless you moved a wall around. You had to mive the whole wall every time uou wanted to use the bathroom. (Unless you like an exposed bathroom ).

The hotel is situated in a remarkably scenic location. The lush greenery and diverse flora and fauna create a picturesque ambiance. As the sun sets, the resort's beauty is further enhanced. The staff demonstrated exceptional helpfulness and kindness. However, opting for the half-board meal plan resulted in the presentation of the same menu every night, which could become monotonous. Consequently, I would not recommend the half-board option. Additionally, the hotel's appearance could benefit from refurbishment, as it currently exhibits signs of aging and wear, giving the impression of uncleanliness.

The property is beautiful, and the hotel itself must have been also, but it has not aged well, and is in dear need of maintenance. Everything is a little derelict, very humid and overall quite old. This makes for a rather disappointing experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful, unfortunately it does not make up for the overall state of the property. The Details Let This Place Down

Beautiful location. Peaceful surroundings. Poolside space is very limited. Very limited options to eat outside the hotel within walking distance. Quality of service in the restaurant was very inconsistent, enthusiasm of the friendly staff could not compensate for lack of training and poor service management. We sat one night with dirty plates for almost an hour. Spacious rooms, but lacking some basic furniture like drawers / shelves for clothing, and towel rail. No available shade / parasols for the balconies of south facing rooms on 2nd and 3rd floor. Only bar available was part of restaurant, nowhere to have a relaxing drink away from diners. Restaurant wine very very expensive.

We checked in on June 7 and checked out on June 10. I regret that I forgot the name of the lovely female staff member at the reception, but her warm welcome when we arrived and her kindness during check-out were truly exceptional—something we’ve never experienced at any other hotel. We were genuinely touched and would greatly appreciate it if you could pass on our heartfelt thanks to her.Since our flight was late at night, we paid for an additional half-day stay. Although the hotel was fully booked and it seemed difficult to accommodate us, the same receptionist went out of her way to help us extend our stay. While we were out, she even arranged to have our luggage moved for us, making the transition incredibly smooth and convenient. The resort's internal transportation service was also excellent. Although most places are within walking distance, there were times when we needed a golf cart, and it always arrived almost immediately after we made the request. There is also a shuttle bus to downtown Chiang Mai, which made sightseeing very easy and accessible. I would gladly return to Chiang Mai just to stay at Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai - MGallery again. Highly recommended!

The Veranda High Resort Chiangmai is an architectural gem in a beautiful, tranquil area outside of Chiangmai. The resort was visually stunning, with modern design with a brutalist touch surrounded by verdant mountains. There were some inconsistencies in our experience: the pool is too cold to use in January, the not-so-sensible guestroom (awkwardly designed bathroom retractable walls and not enough hooks and rails for wet towels and swimsuits), and the finishes that could use some touchups. Overall, the stay was, relaxing, satisfying, and pleasant. Breakfast is plenty and delicious, and their dinner gets a B for Thai dishes. Some concerns for guests with mobility issues, given the constantly changing elevations, some areas of the resort are unevenly paved and underlit. A bonus was the walk through the nearby village to reach the mountaintop pagoda that is different from other Buddhist temples anywhere else in Thailand.
