"This was an excellent place to stay central to the many visitor attractions e.g. Felbrigg Hall, Sherringham, Wells next to the Sea etc. The Public house was welcoming, staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. It's definitely a place to return to. The bedroom was large and very comfortable with plenty of refreshments available. The bathroom was clean and the shower of a good size. Plenty of towels were available and we slept well on the comfortable bed. The breakfast was great there was a good choice of cereals, jams, bread and croissants. This was followed by a cooked breakfast of our choice. The Sunday lunch was fabulous with great crunchy roast potatoes. The homemade pie was also very nice. Can't really fault it at all a great place to stay and eat at."

"What stood out immediately was the cheerful and helpful staff. Well done to all - from the guy who checked us in to the one who made breakfast for us. Very comfortable room with good facilities We only stayed for one Sunday night so managed to get a parking space but I doubt that would happen again during the week or in high season. Double yellow lines everywhere so would need to go to a parking lot. Not sure how much that was."

"Plenty of positives: high quality complementary toiletries, Dyson hair dryer, coffee machine & kettle, fresh milk & water provided, facilities downstairs were excellent and comfortable, food good, staff friendly and helpful. However, we were in a standard room which was not of the same standard. Shabby decor, small & cramped; only one chair, internal phone not working, WIFI unusable in room, bathroom sink didn’t drain and toilet ran constantly, poor shower. If you have any mobility issues you need to let them know before booking as there is no lift and we had a shower over bath."

The whole bed and breakfast is decorated very well and it's like a home from home. Breakfast is very well cooked and plenty to set you up for the day ahead. Holway House is the perfect base for exploring the local area and I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks for a great stay!! 😃"
