"Our stay at Colton Point was wonderful. Our room was clean and we felt safe. The pond out back was a nice perk and we enjoyed the sunset from our paddleboards on the water! (The frogs enjoyed our company as well.) The host was especially helpful with check-in information. Rt 6 is a major road in that area so we did experience the noise from all the trucks back-and-forth, but it did not take away from our fun. We were able to sit out front for several hours one night, chatting and it wasn't disruptive at all."
"The air conditioner vents were very dusty. With my allergies it could have created a problem. Fortunately our stay was short and I just turned it off while we slept."
"The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The sofa bed did not have a very good mattress, so consider that when planning for extra people. Also, trying to get in the door was an experience. It took several attempts to figure out how that worked as well as how to lock it. There should be better instructions, and a reminder to hold the door tightly closed when locking or it won't engage.
Booking through Expedia was ok, but was a bit misleading, as we thought we were getting a river view, however, this location was across the street and you could not see the river, also needed to cross the road to get to it. (not a deciding factor for future reservations as the site is lovely when you get there)"
