Perfect peace and quiet in rural France

Stopped here en route to Italy by car, very much off the beaten track. Lovely countryside location, very peaceful. Pleasant welcome. good room with all facilities, bed was adjustable and very comfortable. Decor a little dated, but this is part of the charm of choosing a rural hotel. Excellent meal, reasonably priced; lady who served us was especially nice. Good breakfast. Would definitely come back.

True hidden gem!

What a gem! The place was adorable, reminding of Monet’s water garden. The staff was friendly and informative. We had a delicious dinner on the terrace. Don’t miss this place!

Personnel: OK Situation de l'hotel: hotel situé à 34 kms de Verdun et 24 kms de Bar Le Duc, au milieu de nulle part, en pleine campagne, à proximité immédiate d'un gros ruisseau (ancien moulin). Impression globale: a déconseiller !

Lorraine Country Inn

Beautiful location; fascinating old mill with modern annexed sleeping quarters. Restaurant was very good. Variety of choices, fresh local products, preparation and presentation first rate. Breakfasts good with normal continental variety; local (?) yogurt, warm bread etc. Bedrooms somewhat dark, need more outlets, perhaps fresh colors, walls seem thin. Still, very clean and well maintained. Owners utterly delightful and very helpful. We would happily return.

Very nice and calm, there is a river next to the hotel The bottle of water is very appreciated (especially during the heat wave) I regret some small manufacturing defects in the bathroom (wallpaper)

À l'arrivée super cadre, acceuil moyen, en rentrant dans l'hôtel bien frais cause clim mais une odeur de renfermer. Idem pour la chambre, malgré que nous avons couper la clim ouvert la fenêtre cette odeur est tenasse, dommage . Petit déjeuner manque certain produit pour le prix demander ( pour moi c'est pas un continentale, pas de charcuterie etc...) Acceuil très froid le matin, aucun échange avec le patron ( vous avez passé une bonne nuit etc) Très gros point positif le cadre.

Tolles Hotel, allerdings etwas abgelegen

Uns hat es in diesem Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer sind in einem sehr guten Zustand, auch das Frühstück konnte von der Qualität her voll überzeugen, allerdings war der Preis unseres Erachtens etwas zu hoch. Hervorzuheben ist die idyllische Lage des Hotels direkt am Fluss, ohne Auto ist man dort jedoch aufgeschmissen.
