"Property was unique and just what we were looking for - a quiet and secluded location after a grueling flight from the USA. One needs the comfort and quiet in order to try to recover some lost sleep/jet lag. The chateau offers the additional benefit of producing some amazing wines at very reasonable prices. "Creaking floor in an attic room wasn’t great. Nice view from the window, if you were very small. Tricky staircase to deal with and very low ceilings in corridor. Looked like a fabulous room was unoccupied on ground floor but we weren’t offered it (even for a price) Hostess nice and helpful but no English. Continental breakfast was nice. Great location"

"The Chateau du Palanquey is an amazing property. There are only a handful of rooms and it is very secluded. The owners helped us out with wonderful local restaurant recommendations and a brilliant wine experience. I cannot recommend this property more highly. It was magnificent. "
