Staff on arrival only provided most basic information and we were left to find out for ourselves info about the facilities at the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. "El hotel realmente no es un 4 estrellas al menos para España . El personal es muy amable. El desayuno es pobre la fruta está buena pero el café es malísimo, y bueno en general hay pocas cosas. La habitación es amplia pero antigua y el baño está muy antiguo, en las cortinas de la ducha indica Hotel Mónaco 3 estrellas que es lo que debería ser. Si vas con coche puedes aparcar en la calle pues hay bastantes sitios. Alrededor no hay nada, tan solo un Aldi, si quieres ir al centro de Faro tienen que...

"We have stayed at Hotel Faro many times over recent years and generally found it very comfortable. Although some of the rooms are very small, this is manageable for one night. The main issue on this visit was the breakfast offering. Previously this has been excellent but it just wasn't up to thd usual standard this time."
