Okay for a night or two.

Booked for a concert. Checkin was good, staff nice. Room cleaners could use some better training or checked behind by management. Room for improvements there. Hotel convenient to restaurants and a quick uber ride to the venue.

Do not recommend

I was told that I wouldn’t normally be allowed to rent since I live in Charleston, even though most people that stay there lives in Charleston as well. Not clean at all, smells of cigarette smoke all over hotel and in the room. Oh and my security deposit will be refunded if the room is clean and the sheets aren’t soiled. Would not recommend this to anyone

Pros: Pet friendly. Close to the joint naval/air force base. Free parking. Cons: The smoke detector was hanging from the wall. The vending machine was like playing roulette for what we'd get to drink. There were no trash cans in the halls on the floor. There were bugs in our room. The carpet hadn't been cleaned in ages. Weird smells throughout the entire hotel. Graffiti in the elevator. No reentry from the side doors. No amenities in the kitchen suite. Do not recommend staying.

Horrible horrible horrible

Do not stay here!!! He gave away my room and them made me pay an upgrade fee to stay in a deluxe. Took 45 minutes to check in because the first room he gave me was actually occupied. Finally got in my room and found trash in the hallway, my refrigerator didn’t work and there is a homeless camp out back. Pets and children being loud past 10pm. Did not dare take a shower because the only toiletries available were from the previous guest. No breakfast. When I checked out a different guy at the counter asked how it went and I told him I had problems at check in and he didn’t ask me to elaborate or say sorry or anything. Again do not stay here!! I wish I would have not but it was super convenient to where my activities were for the evening.

Disappointing even for a cheap hotel

Checking in was fast and had no extra fees or anything. When we got to the room they had roaches and poison for them in all the drawers and cabinets. My 1 year old was with us and would find the tablets and kept trying to play with them. The microwave above the sink was broken but we were not told this, they did have an extra microwave in the room so they knew it wasn't working. We didn't know which one to use and went to use the broken one not realizing it and it was making a loud noise and started to smoke we immediately turned it off. When I told the front desk they said "Well the other microwave works right?" and I said if they can't take it out they should at least put a note on it so people know not to use it and don't start a fire or something and they just said "yeah ok" so I don't think they had any intention of removing it or even putting a note on it. They also claim to have free breakfast but had nothing out but coffee every morning.

The elevator didn’t work and we had luggage. It smelled like something different every time we used the stair case. Free breakfast was a joke. They had a tea bag and package of oatmeal. I truly wouldn’t recommend

This was not like other extended stay hotels. This place has been run down and they are too cheap to even put a coffee maker in the room although I did ask for one and they provided but no other amenities in the room. No utensils, no dishes, no coffee, no paper towels nothing at all in the kitchen. There was an odor everywhere and the elevator is out of service.

Definitely not for family. Room floors sticky and dirty, towels stained, shower curtain stained, no coffee maker in room, no hair dryer, no hangers, no closet doors, couch was sketchy at best, not clean in some areas of room. Cleaning staff needs training. And maybe learn a little English too?!? “Hot breakfast “ consisted of ONLY oatmeal packets and hot water plus coffee, tea, SONE hot chocolate (runs out quick). Certainly a major drop in quality from the extended stay in Virginia Beach. Definitely won’t be back.
